Blue Jackets GM Doug MacLean told the paper the team made three offers: $1.25 million for one-year, $3.9 million for two-years and $6.6 million for three-years. According to the Dispatch, Zherdev’s primary agent, Rolland Hedges, countered Thursday night: $2.75 million for one-year, $5.75 million for two-years and $9 million for three-years.
